Celtic were clinical in key moments to simply swat Hearts away and, once again, Daizen Maeda takes the plaudits as another Premiership title closes in.

The fact that there’s been hardly a mention of Kyogo Furuhashi since his departure says it all. Maeda has been sensational and his 30 goals tally is quite incredible.

Talks on a new deal might be accelerated as there are bound to be admirers given the qualities he has.

Hearts were impressive early on but after being ripped apart by three excellent goals, it was more about regrouping and avoiding a damaging scoreline. They did and now have two big, big games ahead.
