Partick Thistle’s post-split struggles continued as they were beaten 2-1 by Aberdeen at Petershill Park.

Francesca Ogilvie opened the scoring for the visitors when she picked up in the middle of a crowded Thistle box before calmly slotting into the bottom corner.

Carla Boyce pulled one back for the hosts as she turned in the rebound after Lucy Sinclair hit the crossbar.

Kerry Beattie won it for the Dons when she tapped in from close range with 20 minutes to play.

The victory allowed Scott Booth’s side to leapfrog Partick Thistle in the bottom half of the SWPL table.
